New Patients
We always welcome new patients at Peel Chiropractic
What to Expect on Your First Visit
We are super excited to meet you! If you have X rays, relevant medical information and any medical referrals, please bring them along to your first appointment. You will need to arrive at our clinic 15 minutes prior to your appointment time, this give you time to fill in the new patient paperwork before you go in to meet the doctor. If you have trouble writing for any reason, one of our staff members can help you. If you have a Department of Veteran Affairs card, Medicare card, Private Healthcare card, Concession or Pensioners card, please bring them along with you on the day. You don’t need to wear anything specific, just something that you can move freely in and are comfortable.
After your paperwork has been completed you will begin your appointment with the chiropractor. The initial appointment will include a thorough history, neurological and chiropractic examination which will last for approximately 45 minutes. If warranted, you may be sent for x-ray (this cost if usually bulk billed by the provider). You will then make a follow up appointment.
Running late or need to reschedule your appointment? We ask that you let us know by ringing our reception on 08 9535 1600.
What to Expect on Your Second Visit
Your second visit is called the “Report of Findings”.
During this appointment your chiropractor will report his/her findings from the previous appointment and may go over your x-ray findings.
They will give their recommendations for care based on your complaint, your goals and their findings.
This appointment will usually last approximately 30 minutes.
